October 2024 - Chiang Mai, Thailand – Raya Heritage Chiang Mai has honored been received 5-stars rating STGs Star Certificate in sustainable tourism acceleration by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The establishment's commitment to promoting high-quality and standards on safety and sustainability basis, this initiative aims to create a sustainable tourism sector towards sustainable growth according to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) concept of the United Nations.
STAR: Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating represents an enhancement of the hygiene safety standards. This initiative strives to provide the travelers with enjoyable experiences while prioritizing hygiene and safety. Additionally, it also reflects the collaborative efforts between partners to build a valuable and sustainable image for Thai tourism.
The 5-stars certificate, the highest level in the star program represents 17 sustainable tourism goals that highlight sustainability across 4 key dimensions: good governance, social-economic factors, cultural aspects and environmental considerations.
